Anarow Smart Ring + Ringlo: Better App, Same Ring
A plain-band ring sold on Amazon. We have never had one in hand, so this page tells you how to find out for yourself before you spend anything — and what you are buying into if it is a YCBT ring.
What we know, and what we are guessing
Known: it is a plain band rather than a patterned one, and it is sold with an Amazon product listing. That is the honest extent of it. We have no Anarow, no recorded Bluetooth session from one, and no capability record. We deliberately do not repeat the seller’s specifications — water rating, battery days, materials — because we cannot check any of them and repeating them would dress a guess up as a test.
The one question that decides it
Not the sensors. Not the metal. Which app the listing tells you to download. If it says SmartHealth or YCBT Life, the ring speaks the YCBT protocol and Ringlo reads it. If it says HBand, that is a different vendor’s protocol and Ringlo has no adapter for it. If it says Da Fit, different again. If it names no app at all, nobody can tell you — including us.

If it is a YCBT ring, here is what you are buying into
A YCBT ring advertises itself over Bluetooth twice, under two different addresses. One face answers almost nothing; the other answers everything. An app that picks the wrong one pairs happily, shows a battery percentage, and then never syncs — which reads as a dead ring rather than a confused app. We found that by capturing both faces of a ring we own, and Ringlo goes to the right one.
Why there is no photo on this page
The only pictures of this ring belong to the Amazon listing, and the Amazon Associates terms do not permit us to store and serve them. We would rather leave the space empty than show you a screenshot of someone else’s photograph with their watermark on it. We also do not show a Ringlo screenshot here, because that would imply we had this ring paired and we have not.
About the blood-pressure number
Almost every listing in this category advertises blood pressure. We took that apart on a ring we own, and the answer is the same for all of them: the figure is produced by the ring’s own firmware from your pulse, and it is an estimate, not a measurement. None of these rings has a cuff — we checked the capability flag on 941 of them and not one claims an inflatable band. The vendor’s own idea of “calibration” is a settings screen where you type in your normal blood pressure. Ringlo shows the number because your ring produces it, labels it an estimate, and never writes it to Apple Health or Health Connect, because a health record files it next to real cuff readings.
