A Better Wearfit Alternative for Your Smart Ring
If your smart ring came with the Wearfit app, you may be able to keep the ring and swap the app. Whether Ringlo can read it depends on the ring's Bluetooth protocol, and a scan tells you in about 10 seconds.
What is the Wearfit app?
Wearfit is one of the default companion apps bundled with a large number of affordable smart rings and bands sold on AliExpress, Temu, and Amazon. It connects over Bluetooth, pulls your heart rate, sleep, SpO2, steps, and blood-pressure estimates off the ring, and shows them in a dashboard. We haven't confirmed which Bluetooth protocol Wearfit uses, so we can't promise that Ringlo reads a Wearfit ring.
Why do people replace the Wearfit app?
- Rough translations. Menus and labels are often machine-translated from Chinese, so buttons and metric names can be confusing or just wrong.
- Sleep math that doesn't add up. Sleep stages are often summed incorrectly — totals that exceed the hours you were in bed, or nights split into odd fragments.
- A dated, cluttered interface. The layout feels generic and crowded, and the numbers you care about are buried.
- Ads, upsells, and permissions. Promotional content and broad phone permissions clutter what should be a simple health dashboard.

Check before you switch. We haven't confirmed which protocol Wearfit rings use. Ringlo reads YCBT rings — the ones that ship with SmartHealth or YCBT Life, such as the DL110 — with heart rate, SpO2, blood pressure, sleep, and steps. Colmi R02, R03, R06, and R10 on QRing / Colmi Fit (BlueX) firmware also work, with heart rate, SpO2, sleep, and steps (not blood pressure). Not sure about your model? How do I switch from Wearfit to Ringlo?
It takes under a minute:
- Download Ringlo from the App Store or Google Play.
- Open it, pick your language, and choose the features you want.
- On the "Pair Your Ring" screen, tap Scan with the ring within a foot of your phone.
- Tap your ring when it appears and wait ~15 seconds for the handshake.
- Done — your dashboard fills in and the ring starts measuring.
You don't have to delete Wearfit. Just don't run both at the same time — a Bluetooth ring connects to one app at a time.
