A Wearfit Alternative - If Your Ring Is One We Read
If your ring came with Wearfit, Ringlo might read it and we will not pretend to know. This page says what we have actually established, and how to settle it yourself in ten seconds.
What is the Wearfit app?
Wearfit is one of the default companion apps bundled with a large number of affordable smart rings and fitness bands. It connects over Bluetooth, pulls your metrics off the device and shows them in a dashboard.
We cannot promise you this one, and here is exactly why. Unlike the YCBT family, we have never recorded a Bluetooth session between Wearfit and a ring, we hold no packet-level source for it, and Ringlo contains no adapter written against it. We are not hedging out of caution - we genuinely do not know which protocol a given Wearfit ring speaks, and we would rather tell you that than sell you a maybe as a yes.
Why the app a ring ships with matters more than the ring
Cheap smart rings look alike and are not alike. We have identified several different Bluetooth protocol families across cheap rings, and they have nothing in common at the packet level: different services, different framing, different commands. An app that reads one of them reads nothing from another.
So the app name in the listing is the single most useful clue about compatibility. SmartHealth or YCBT Life means the YCBT protocol, which Ringlo reads and which we have verified against the vendor’s own code. QRing or Colmi Fit means the BlueX family, which Ringlo also reads, through a second implementation. Da Rings means MoYoung, which Ringlo reads as well. HBand is a different vendor’s protocol again and Ringlo has no adapter for it - we used to imply otherwise and corrected it. Wearfit we cannot place.
How to find out in ten seconds, for nothing
Install Ringlo, open it and tap scan with the ring within a foot of your phone. If your ring appears and pairs, it speaks something Ringlo understands and you are done. If it does not, you have lost a minute and no money. That is a better test than any specification table, including ours.
If it does pair, we would genuinely like to know - a Wearfit ring that works is the missing piece that would let us write this page properly.

How do I switch from Wearfit to Ringlo?
It takes under a minute:
- Download Ringlo from the App Store or Google Play.
- Open it, pick your language, and choose the features you want.
- On the "Pair Your Ring" screen, tap Scan with the ring within a foot of your phone.
- Tap your ring when it appears and wait ~15 seconds for the handshake.
- Done - your dashboard fills in and the ring starts measuring.
You don't have to delete Wearfit. Just don't run both at the same time - a Bluetooth ring connects to one app at a time.
